Dan Lundin, aka “Dan the Big Swede”, is the writer for “Los Desperados”. When not contorting words to his will, he can often be found wandering the roadside, charitably tossing needles into needleless haystacks while daydreaming about the existence of a thirteenth floor.
Dan lives and loves in South Pasadena, California, with his wife, Amanda, his daughter, June, three chickens and one and a half cats (he cat-shares with his neighbor; don’t feel like you need to understand).
Artist Tom Vadakan has toyed with the concept of a “Los Desperados” universe for many years. From “Los Desperados” themed art shows, to founding the art collective Los Desperados Art Banditos, Vadakan has dreamed of creating animations and comics around his “desperate” characters. He was more thrilled than a fox in a hen house when he reconnected with childhood neighbor and friend, Dan Lundin, thus Los Desperados Comics was born.
Tom resides in Long Beach, California, with his amazing wife, Rose, beautiful children, Elie and Lux, and Ozzy the Cat. When not illustrating or painting, he can be found training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the world famous Brazilian Top Team.
James Achor is a composer/musician, that has thrown himself into the trenches of the music business and has more than just survived. A veteran of the band, Royal Crown Revue, James wrote the world renown song “Hey Pachuco”, which was featured in the movie “The Mask”. These days James divides his time recording bands out of his own recording studio, run Five Finger Management, work on a TV pilot (with his wife Heather Tom), play in bands (Black Diamond Riders, Steve Soto & The Twisted Hearts, New Recessionaires, and Midnight Welders), ride his bike……
The music of “Thee Desperates” (Hank & Dusty’s band) is composed by James, with music performed by his band Midnight Welders (which features James on guitar, pedal steel, slide guitar, etc., Veikko Lepisto on bass, and Michael Duffy on drums).
Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Achor lives in Glendale, California with his wife Heather.
